Past, present and future!

Past

I felt very tired all time, After of thousands of classes, and going to class on friday afternoon :( , 

I didn't want to think in english, it was so hard .

Present

Finally it's the last class, I feel happy, althought still little tired but is a good emotion to know that there will be no more classes.

Future

I will feel very happy and relaxed, doing nothing after doing so much. It would be fantastic. A well-deserved vacations.

Hi friends!! Today it’s the last post L

My experience learning English at university has been very gratifying and I feel that it has been a great experience, my base in the school about English wasn’t good, then here I feel that really I’m learning, although it has been difficult for me. I started in English I, it has been all an adventure hahaha

The blogs helped me to learn many words and to create phrases that before was impossible to do and also, it’s an easier way to learn because we can write and read about things more interesting of my classmates.

After of other English classes, I thought that we need a feedback of our blogs, because I did know in what I did wrong, then I couldn’t learn completely, but now we have a feedback and we can learn better. I really feel that I’m learning English.

My plan is to continue with this, I hope to follow with course by internet so I don’t lose the practice and to follow watching movies and series in English or with subtitles in English.  Also, I hope to speak in English sometimes with some friends.

These days I’m using English when I read a paper that send us the teachers, also when I watch movies and series, when I listen to music and I read to translate. I do it because I want to learn, it seems interesting to me and one day I hope to travel abroad and then I need to be prepared for this and like this be able to speak with many people.

Changes in my faculty

Hi friends! Today I'm going to talk about some changes that I'd do in my faculty. Some changes could be:
- I would like to make bigger the gym and to get more equipment, because currently we don't have many space and the equipment is insufficient for all students and the people that work in the faculty.

- The faculty could to implement more green areas, currently we don't have many grass, only ground and cement. We need space for to rest between or after classes. As student we need relaxing for moments and it's good when we share with friends in a fresh environment.

- We could to change the company in charge of the cafeteria, because the majority of staff is disagreeable. The principal problem is the food, it isn't delicious, in general it's a small portion , the food is cold or the menu repeated during the week (rice with hamburger or nuggets). Sometimes we don't know what the dessert is, are strange and insipid mixes.

- In relation with the program, I think that we could to change the modality of some subjects, because the students in the clinic must to get patients when the clinic should to do it, and sometimes the patient can't pay it treatment and the student must pay it to pass a subject. Besides, we could to change the program of simulation, this subject generated us many problems along years, especially the evaluation of tests and controls according the opinion of each teacher. My solution for it's problem is to realize the program in conjunction teachers and students.

My favorite movies and series

Hi friends! I'm going to talk about my favorite movies and series. Always when someone asks me this I forget it.

I like so much the series "Lie to me" I started to watch it this year on Netflix searching any series to watch and I found it, it's inspired in Paul Ekman a american psychologist, it's interesting to me because Cal Lightman (main character) is a man that works in the Lightman Group in conjunction with other people, they detect lies and truth to help in investigations of crimes. They analyze all the expressions in the face and movements, way of speaking, voice tones, etc. It's very interesting to me and I would like to learn too!

Another series is "Outlander", I love this series, I started to watch it not long ago, a month ago, nobody recomended it to me, also I found it on netflix, I liked the review. I love the main character, he is very handsome hahaha and the story is very interesting, a woman travels to the past to touch a magic stone and go back 200 years and she lived many adventures in that place.

A movie that I remember that I like is "The terminal", also I watched it this year. In general I like so much the movies where Tom Hanks act, he is a of my favorite actors. The story is about a man that traveled to New York terminal from Krakozhia and he couldn't go back to his country and couldn't exit the terminal either. During his stay there many funny thing happen ,It's a beautiful story.

Summer Holidays

Hi friends!! I'm going to talk about my future summer holidays
I really didn't think much about my vacation but I have some ideas.

My vacations are sadly only in Chile, I can't go abroad, I'm poor :(  But one day I will be able to travel to more places.
I would like to visit La Serena, I don't know why but I want to go there! I know that I want to go to beaches, I like much the beaches, relaxing places and the nature, and activities in this places would be perfect. I prefer the seafood, it's delicious and fresh it's the best.

And with my grandfather (father of my mom) we are going to Pichilemu to visit my grandmother (she isn't his wife, she is the mother of my father) and he has never visited her before. With my grandfather I can't to do many activities, it would only be a trip to know more and to keep in touch.

Besides of traveling I will work, I did this some summers ago, not in the same work all time, I like to work and to have my own money, it's gratifying.

TVO (I'm from Coltauco :) lml )

This summer I want to go to TVO (voluntiary works  of odontology) this is a very interesting activity, entertaining and that lets me learn more. This will last for one or two weeks and we assist people that need dental attention.

The feminist movement

Hi! I'm going to talk about the feminist movement and my opinion about this topic.

I'm in favor of this movement, it's a very common topic in the last time at cause of horrible acts against women that have occurred,  these acts have happened throughout the history of humanity but this have been undervalued, acts as violation, domestic violence, inequal salaries, psychological violence, killing, etc.

Currently, many women and men want changes in these things, as a society we want to do change of thoughts, to inform more people about this topic with marches, information in the internet, etc.
I think that is a good movement, we as a society need this movement to grow, it's very important that as people we respect each other and  for this is fundamental that we learn from the infancy and not only from our parents also of general people, but in the deep this is something that we must know inside us.

The feminism affected my view of the world in the meaning the nowadays we have women more empowered and I like this. I also like the idea that the women are not undervalued, I like gender equality for this society, it's necessary that men have the same responsabilities that a women in all meaning of things. The fair thing would be that women should be able to walk peacefully through the streets, they can breastfeed their babies in public and not feel fear of being murdered only because a man feels he has the rights over her; and many things more.

Postgraduate studies

Hi friends! I'm going to talk about some postgraduate studies for my future.

I would like to study Pathology, this area is very interesting for me because in the past I wanted to study medicine, then I liked all the associated with deseases and it diagnosis. Particularly this year that I have had classes with teachers that are pathologists I have become more interested in this area.

Pathology is the branch of medical science that studies the causes and nature and effects of diseases.

I would like to study this in another country, but not in the best university of this area, I don't know which one it is; I would like to go to Italy and besides I might want to learn Italian and travel for many places of Italy and Europe. And the perfect for me would be studying a part-time course because I would have more time for  outdoor activities.

Another area that I would like to study is public health  because I want to learn about the relation of people in public system and to make changes in these places and people so they can have better care. Public health is defined as the science of protecting the safety and improving the health of communities through education, policy making and research for disease and injury prevention.

In addition to Pathology and Public Health I like Psychology, I would like to study or learn about many areas hahaha I hope to do it!
